Do you know what the number one thing is that keeps people (myself included) from really and truly committing?

You probably guessed it. Fear.

That’s right – because every single commitment has inherent risk. When you give something your absolute all, and work really hard… you want and need it to work out perfectly. That just isn’t how life works though.

Every time we put ourselves out there we risk it.  We risk failure, we risk getting hurt, we risk making a total fool of ourselves. Yet every single thing we do has risk.

Think about it. You risked your life by getting out of bed today. You risked feeling foolish when you laughed out loud. You risk showing your true self if you express your feelings. You risked failure by reaching for a dream. You risked despair by daring to hope for something.

Any life worth living is full of risk. The alternative would be doing nothing. Not reaching for goals, not feeling, not changing, not loving.

What kind of life do you really want? A safe, yet totally unsatisfying existence, or a thrilling adventure that takes you to new heights.

The time to commit to your dreams, the time to take that risk, is now.

… and now.

… and now.

… and now.
